Why Greek Life?: All of my family members (mom, dad, grandparents, aunts and uncles etc) were Greek in college, so I grew up hearing stories about their Greek life experiences and I wanted to have memories and stories and lifelong friendships like they did. In addition, I went to an all-girl's school for ten years before college so I really value female community.

Why Greek Life?: I chose Greek Life because I was excited to have the opportunity to be challenged by other women. I wanted to grow into the best version of myself and learn from others who were willing to step outside of their comfort zone.

Why Greek Life?: I am 2,000 miles from home and knew absolutely no one coming in to Belmont. I wanted some place to call 'home' here in Nashville and found that within Greek Life.

Why Greek Life?: I came to college knowing that I wanted to be involved on campus and find people that I could call best friends but not really having an idea where to start. I was able to find that community through my sorority. I support Greek Life because of the bonds and connections you can make with others and the traditions you carry on.

Why Greek Life?: When I came to Belmont, I wanted to join an organization that was grounded in leadership, scholarship, friendship and community service- which happened to the the four pillars of Greek Life at Belmont. It didn't take long to convince me that Greek Life was the perfect fit for me.

Why Greek Life?: Being over 600 miles from home, it gave me a sisterhood when i needed it the most. I was searching for a group of girls that i could call whenever, who would constantly support and encourage me and overall let me be my true self.

Why Greek Life?: Greek Life is something that has brought so much joy to my life and I have seen it brighten the lives of others. I wanted to be a part of greek life because I wanted to be a part of something that would outlive my college years. Being a part of a Greek organization doesn't end when I graduate; it is for a lifetime.

Why Greek Life?: Joining a sorority provides you with a home away from home. As a part of greek life, you gain an incredible support system that loves you through thick and thin. Why Greek Life?: I grew up with two sisters very close in age to me. I love the relationship and closeness I had with them and wanted to find that same kind of relationship at Belmont, my new home.
